PARTNERS & COLLABORATIONS
One of AquaNet's goals is to establish effective networking and partnerships among academic institutions, federal and provincial agencies, private sector and non-government sector participants; to pursue collaborative, interdisciplinary high quality research to move towards diversified and harmonized aquatic resource utilization that meets the needs of all stakeholders.
Network members include:
- Network investigators who are employed, or given academic status, by a Participating Institution (usually a university or equivalent), who are responsible for a specific aspect of Network research, faculty members at Canadian academic institutions or associated with Canadian academic institutions, that have formed a partnership agreement with AquaNet.
- Partners who are Network Affiliates (i.e. an organization - corporate, government, NGO or other - associated with a project that is providing cash or in-kind support to the project) and Collaborators (i.e. a person or organization associated with a project, such as in an advisory capacity, but is not engaged directly in the research and is not providing cash or in-kind support).
Current Network Members include:
- Academic Institutions
- Federal and Provincial Government Agencies
- Private Sector and Non-Government Organizations
