RESEARCH - Research Forums

Research forums are held to identify specific research questions & priorities based upon AquaNet's research framework and will result in targeted calls for proposals to carry out interdisciplinary and integrated projects.

Future research forums are planned in the following areas:

  • Bioproducts from Canadian Aquaculture
  • Fish & Human Health
  • Non-Food Aquaculture Products

AquaNet's Theme Leaders will take a lead role in developing agendas for the forums, identifying speakers and participants, and preparing the discussion papers. The discussion papers then form the bases for topic-specific Request for Proposals (RFP). Information regarding RFP will be made available via the website and media communications.
